Return, Exchange & Refund Policy – SHRUGS

At SHRUGS, we want you to love every purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help with easy returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Return & Exchange Window

  • Returns or exchanges can be requested within 7 days of delivery.
  • Requests raised after 7 days may not be accepted.
    Industry-standard fashion return windows commonly range from 7–15 days.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must:

  • Be unused, unwashed, and unworn
  • Have all original tags attached
  • Be returned in original packaging
  • Be free from stains, perfume, smoke, or damage

SHRUGS reserves the right to reject returns that fail quality checks.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return/refund:

  • Sale or discounted products
  • Limited edition drops
  • Customized or altered items
  • Accessories, caps, socks, or innerwear (for hygiene reasons)
  • Products damaged due to customer misuse

Many apparel brands restrict returns on sale/customized items.


4. Size Exchange

  • One-time size exchange is available, subject to stock availability.
  • If the requested size is unavailable, customers may choose:
    • Store credit, or
    • Refund (if applicable)

5. Damaged / Wrong Product

If you receive:

  • A damaged product
  • Wrong item
  • Missing item

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID
  • Clear photos/video proof
  • Unboxing video (recommended)

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or full refund.


6. Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed after the returned item passes inspection.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • COD orders may receive refunds via bank transfer or store credit.

Indian consumer rules require transparent refund handling for e-commerce platforms.


7. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

8. Return Shipping

  • For damaged, defective, or wrong products: return shipping is free.
  • For size exchanges or change-of-mind returns: shipping charges may apply.
